Watervliet motorcyclist killed in collision
BERRIEN COUNTY, Ind. -- A Watervliet man died at the hospital after suffering injuries in a motorcycle accident.
According to the Berrien County Sheriff's Department, Saturday afternoon, an SUV was headed southbound on County Line Road when the driver stopped at the intersection with Red Arrow Highway.
The driver turned directly in the path of an eastbound motorcycle driven by 54-year-old William Raymond.
Raymond suffered life threatening injuries and died at the hospital. His passenger, his 20-year-old daughter, was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The driver of the SUV, Linda Krcma, was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injures.
The prosecutor's office will review the incident to determine if there will be any charges filed.
