Younger voters making their voices heard in the 2024 election
SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- With less than two weeks from the start of the Notre Dame football season, players and coaches discussed their game plan in preparation for Ohio State.
On Monday, players and coaches spoke about the vigorous training and preparation they had to endure for their upcoming match against the Buckeyes. With an emphasis on their defense and dealing with the pressure from crowds.
"Freeman he tries to make everything like a game experience. We add crowd noise in a situation because we know we are going to be in those hostile territories during the fall," said Defensive Coach Houston Griffith. "Everything’s been the same. We’re not going to change our process for anything. At the end of the day it’s Notre Dame football."
Players expressed their mindset heading into the matchup.
"I’ve game planned for them before. It’s something that everyone here hasn’t done. So, I do look at them a little bit differently but it is another opponent," said transfer Safety Brandon Joseph. "I don’t like to look at opponents any different. I don’t like to look at Ohio State any different than Marshall in week two, so, I try to keep that in mind but also know I played them before. I kind of know what they like to do."
The highly anticipated matchup is set for September 3 in Columbus, Ohio. Game coverage will begin at 7:30 p.m. on ABC57 followed by our post-game show.
