Well Pet in Mishawaka expands plant facility
MISHAWAKA, Ind. -- Well Pet in Mishawaka unveiled a $20 million expansion at its dry dog food processing plant during a special ribbon cutting ceremony.
By the end of the expansion the company will add 45 jobs. The plant says they've been expanding for the last couple of years.
They've also added a lot of green and advanced technology including automated packaging.
"Where we come from we were three or four people running a packaging line and we're now at a point where we can run a packaging line with one person," Steve Griswold, the director of plant operations.
The plant will be at full working capacity by September.
