Westbound lanes of Sample Street to close starting June 15

SOUTH BEND, Ind.—The westbound lanes of Sample Street will be closed starting June 15 for sewer repair work, according to the city.
The closure on Sample Street will span from Chapin Street to Arnold Street. Westbound traffic will detour north on Chapin St., then west on Western Ave. to Mayflower Rd.
Repair work will begin Monday, June 17.
The city anticipates that the road will reopen on Monday, July 1, weather permitting.
Eastbound traffic on Sample St. will remain open but will be restricted to one lane of traffic due to roadwork currently underway.
