Westville Correctional Facility inmate dies, IDOC confirms; investigation underway

ABC 57 WESTVILLE, Ind. -- An investigation is underway following the death of an inmate at Westville Correctional Facility.
Indiana Department of Corrections officials confirmed to ABC57 that inmate Amarion Hatch became unresponsive the morning of September 5. He was taken to the hospital where he later died.
Officials say an autopsy has been performed, and the cause of death is pending.
