Westville inmates receive degree from Holy Cross College

 Holy Cross College and the Westville Correctional Facility have partnered up to offer associate's degrees to inmates.

Inmates Carl Gary and Jon Hicks both graduated with associate's degrees in liberal studies on May 21.

Gary and Hicks participated in the Westville Education Initiative, which is a program that allows male inmates enroll in college-level courses taught by professors from Holy Cross College and the University of Notre Dame.
