As we kick off Labor Day Weekend, there may be a small wrench in your plans to get outdoors. There are some scattered, light rain showers this afternoon and evening. Otherwise, we dry out for Sunday and Labor Day.
If you’re able to get outdoors today between showers, temperatures climb into the mid 70s. Overnight, showers continue as lows fall into the low 60s.
Most showers wrap up before sunrise on Sunday, then skies clear and we’ll end with beautiful sunshine. Temperatures are slightly warmer tomorrow.
For those of you making beach plans: there is a red flag on Sunday and Monday for Lake Michigan. Don’t plan on swimming – breezy conditions will create big waves.
For Labor Day Monday, highs are around 80 with more beautiful sunshine to enjoy. This work week there are additional showers Tuesday, otherwise the week looks fair and temperatures stay seasonable.
Today: Mostly cloudy. Few scattered showers. High 75.
Tonight: Scattered showers. Low 63.
Sunday: Mostly sunny. Breezy. High 78.
Labor Day: Sunny. High 80.
