ELKHART, Ind. -- The election is for registered voters in the Elkhart Community School District only. The deadline to register was April 5th. Voting day is Tuesday, May 4th from 6 a.m. to 6 pm. Registered voters can vote from any polling location. The vote is not based on your home address.
When prompted with the ballot, voters will vote “yes” or “no” to imposing a property tax around $.0385 on each $100 for taxpayers in the district.
There are a total of 15 polling locations available those including Northside gym, Jimtown High School gym, the Elkhart County Health department, Elkhart County Public Services in Goshen, and Bristol United Methodist Church. The full list can be found here.
