What you need to know for the first Notre Dame home football weekend

It's the first home football weekend for Notre Dame fans.

Football Friday's is the primer for the weekend. Lots of things are planned for fans and families that are free of charge.

The Guglielmo complex will have an open house  until 2pm. There will also be stadium tunnel tours until 5pm. And of course the traditional pep rally is going down at 5:45 p.m outside the Rockne memorial building.

Fans won't notice much difference from last year in terms of getting into the stadium. All five stadium gates will be open. All restrooms and concessions will be available as well.

The biggest change will be parking, with a zipper style being used for stadium and Joyce lots. That starts at 9 a.m.

According to Notre Dame they are on pace to have construction done by the start of next football season. For now though, you're still going to see some orange around.

ABC 57 Saturday Kickoff starts Saturday morning at 10 a.m as well. You can head to the fieldhouse to be a part of the action.
