Wife talks about husband killed in plane crash

DETROIT — During the first week of May, a cargo plane crashed in Afghanistan killing seven people.
A Detroit woman is speaking out for the first time about her husband, Jamie Brokaw, a Three Rivers native, who died on that plane.
"I'm so sad that he's gone, but I'm so happy I had him," said Elizabeth Brokaw.
The 33-year-old died Monday when the 747 plane he was on crashed in Afghanistan shortly after takeoff.
His family is currently working to set up a college scholarship fund for Jamie's stepdaughter.
