Wiffleball championship raises money for a good cause

MISHAWAKA, Ind.-- It's not quite baseball, it's not softball either.

It's wiffleball!

Folks at Rose Park in Mishawaka spent the day Wiffleballing for kids.

This annual event brought out over 300 wiffleball players from all across the United States straight to Michiana.

The event has been happening for over 30 years and used to be called the World Wiffleball Championship.

"It's very rewarding afterwards--hard work beforehand, but very rewarding knowing that we raised money to help kids and they're gonna have a chance to do some things that maybe they didn't have a chance to do before," said Rich Carrrasco.

All the money raised goes towards the children's campus in Mishawaka.
