Winding Brook neighborhood lights up to help local charities

MISHAWAKA, Ind. -- For the past 45 years, a Mishawaka neighborhood has been giving back by plugging in thousands of Christmas lights!

Every year, the Winding Brook Park neighborhood sets up a light show for charity.

It's been going on for 45 years!

This Christmas season, the lights are still shining bright.

"I put them all around the bushes and up on the roof and every where that I can and out in front because I like to have some lights for the people who are collecting the money," said Joan Berta, a Winding Brook resident.

All of the donations are divided equally between eight local charities.

You can catch this great light show for yourself, every night through Dec. 26.
