Spotty storms and breezy, Tuesday
Today starts off near freezing out the door with mostly clear skies. As the day goes on, clouds roll in and a warm up into the mid 50s leads to a subsequent increase in wind speeds. A wind advisory goes into effect for all counties starting at 10AM EST with those counties north of US-30 seeing the advisory end this afternoon while the advisory south of 30 lingers into the evening. Expect wind gusts of 30-40 mph in the afternoon and evening today. Low pressure digs in tonight and keeps winds gusty and coming from the north, promoting light lake effect snow that lasts into tomorrow morning. A substantial cooldown awaits this weekend with highs hovering near freezing both days, but temperatures return to feeling Spring-like early next week.
Today (Friday): Mostly cloudy. High 56.
Tonight: Snow showers. Low 24.
Tomorrow: AM flurries. High 28.
Sunday: Mostly sunny. High 34.
