Starke County face-to-face with severe weather
With severe weather out of our area, attention shifts to the lake effect snow showers lasting most of today and gusty winds possibly exceeding 50+ MPH through tonight. By the start of tomorrow morning, snow totals in our southern Michigan counties could exceed three inches; south of the IN/MI state line, totals decrease gradually. Temperatures stay in the mid 20s for the start of the week but get close to 30 by Wednesday. Another low pressure system moves in Thursday and drags our area back down to the low 20s and teens heading into the new year and weekend.
Today: Snow and wind. High 27.
Tonight: Snow showers. Low 17.
Tuesday: Overcast. High 26.
Wednesday: Snow showers. High 20.
