Wintry mix Saturday night; temperatures start to fall Sunday

NOW: Wintry mix Saturday night; temperatures start to fall Sunday

Prepare for a cold start Saturday morning. It is not as breezy compared to yesterday, but wind chills are still in the teens in some areas.

Temperatures warm into the lower 30s this afternoon.

It is cloudy, with a chance for a few flurries in the afternoon. There is a better chance for precipitation late this evening/overnight. It may be a rain/snow mix, or a very slushy snow. There is a chance for some accumulating snow, especially in our southwest Michigan counties, by Sunday morning.

Snow gradually tapers off during the day Sunday. It will be a little breezy tomorrow, with temperatures dropping into the upper 20s by the afternoon.

A few snow showers are possible Sunday overnight, but they should taper off before most people wake up Monday.

Temperatures stay below normal this upcoming week. The coldest period looks like Monday night into Tuesday, with highs in the teens.

The rest of the week offers little improvements with highs in the 20s. It does look to stay relatively quiet next week- just cold.

Today: Mostly cloudy. Evening rain/snow. High 32.

Tonight: Rain/snow, turning to all snow. Low 29.

Sunday: AM snow showers. Breezy. Temperatures falling from 32.

Monday: Cloudy, little breezy. High 22.
