Wolverines ready to take on the Fighting Irish

ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- The Wolverines are chomping at the bit to take on the Irish.

Michigan was won the last three meetings but Notre Dame is going into the game undefeated and the favorite to win.

Here's what some of the Michigan players had to say ahead of Saturday's game.

"At the end of the day, those three wins from the last three years aren't going to help us this year," said senior safety Jordan Kovacs.

"You got to keep making strides to get better until game day," said senior quarterback Denard Robinson. "You want to be at your peak performance. So, you got to be ready to perform."

The Irish host the Wolverines Saturday at Notre Dame Stadium at 7:30 p.m.
