Woman accused of stabbing friend in the head and neck with a fork

ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Mich. -- An 18-year-old woman was arrested for allegedly stabbing a man in the head and neck with a fork during an argument, according to the St. Joseph County Sheriff's Department.

Deputies were called to the 11000 block of Riverside Drive in White Pigeon Township around 9:30 p.m. Sunday to investigate a domestic assault.

When they arrived, they found a 29-year old man with stab wounds.

An 18-year-old woman from Sturgis allegedly stabbed the man in the head and neck several times with a fork during an argument, deputies said.

The man was treated for non-life threatening injuries.

The woman was arrested on charges of felonious assault and on an outstanding warrant.
