Woman airlifted from crash on M-60

JEFFERSON TOWNSHIP, Mich. – A 21-year-old woman was airlifted from the scene of a crash on M-60 early Thursday morning.

According to the Cass County Sheriff’s Department, Alexandria Tackitt was driving east on M-60 near Hospital Road when her vehicle left the road and struck a tree. The crash happened around 3:35 a.m.

She was flown to South Bend Memorial Hospital for treatment of her injuries.

Deputies say Tackitt was wearing a seat belt and alcohol does not appear to be a factor.
