Woman donates kidney to her boyfriend

KANSAS CITY, Ks. — It is a Valentine's Day gift that is hard to top. A 32-year-old woman gave her boyfriend her left kidney.
Her boyfriend has had kidney problems since birth. He lived with only 25 percent kidney function.
After spending a year on a donor list, his girlfriend turned out to be a perfect match.
Valentine's Day is also National Donor Day.
