Woman hospitalized following hit-and-run in Elkhart County

ELKHART COUNTY, Ind. -- Emergency crews rushed one woman to the hospital after a hit-and-run.
It happened just after 9 p.m. Thursday on U.S. Highway 33 in Elkhart County. Deputies say two cars collided and the driver of a Lincoln LS took off.
Officers did later find the car but no one was inside.
