Woman injured after riding on vehicle hood

Deputies responded to a vehicle accident between a car and a pedestrian at the Twin Mills Campground Tuesday evening, according to the La Grange County Sheriff's Department.

Deputies say Cassy Depew was driving her car south on the entrance drive and stopped behind the victim Natasha Depew.

Natasha got onto the hood of the vehicle and Cassy drove several feet at slow speeds, deputies said.

When Cassy stopped the vehicle, Natasha slid off the hood and fell onto the pavement, according to deputies.

Natasha suffered a head injury and road rash. She was taken to Parkview LaGrange to be evaluated.
