Woman killed in early morning accident

LAPORTE COUNTY, Ind. – A woman was killed in an early morning accident in Union Township Monday.
According to the LaPorte County Sheriff’s Department, a woman was driving south on Range Road in Union Township when she drove off the side of the road and hit a concrete barrier around 1:15 a.m.
The woman was ejected from her vehicle and died at the scene.
