Woman shot while watching TV in her Benton Harbor home

BENTON HARBOR, Ind.—A 66-year-old woman was shot on Saturday night while in her Benton Harbor home watching TV.
Police officers on patrol around 11:05 p.m. on Saturday hear gun fire in the Broadway Park area.
Officers found that a 66-year-old woman was shot while lying in bed watching TV in her home in the 900 block of Pavone.
The victim was taken to the hospital in critical condition.
Officers do not believe the victim was the intended target.
Evidence found in Broadway Park indicates that the shooting took place there, police said.
Several people were seen running from the park near the time of the incident.
