Woman stabs husband while he slept

MICHIGAN CITY, Ind. -- A woman is charged with attempted murder for stabbing her husband several times while he slept.
Police said 30-year-old Tonira Phillips stabbed her husband, Anthony Ford, as he slept on Tuesday morning.
Ford was able to call 911 and was taken to Memorial Hospital. Phillips is in The La Porte County Jail.
