Woman's exes accused of breaking into her home, assaulting her
A woman's ex-husband and ex-boyfriend have been arrested for allegedly breaking into her home, assaulting her and her friend on May 31, according to the probable cause affidavit in the case.
Drew Hamilton and Zachery Ford are both accused of entering the victim's home through a window.
Hamilton is accused of beating the victim's friend with a hammer and cutting him with a knife, according to the probable cause affidavit.
Ford is accused of attempting to strangle the victim.
The victim had active protective orders against both Hamilton and Ford, according to the probable cause affidavit.
On October 6, 2015, Ford was convicted of domestic battery against the victim and is currently on probation for that case.
Hamilton currently is on bond for disorderly conduct and trespassing charges that involve the victim.
The victim told police her friend was staying with her in case Hamilton or Ford tried to cause her any trouble, according to the probable cause affidavit.
Hamilton is facing charges of burglary, battery by means of a deadly weapon and invasion of privacy.
Ford is facing charges of burglary resulting in bodily injury, invasion of privacy, battery, battery with moderate bodily injury and battery with previous conviction for battery against the victim.
