Women facing felony charges for setting up men in LaPorte hotel room

LAPORTE, Ind. – Two women face felony charges after police say they set up two guys in a hotel room.
Police arrested 21-year-old Ashley Rawson from Watervliet and 21-year-old Jordan Vertz of Benton Harbor at the Best Western Hotel on Pine Lake Avenue in LaPorte.
Two men told police the duo invited them into the room but soon pulled out knives and took off with $700.
The women got away in a Ford Explorer, but police found them after they got into an accident.
