Youngest city mayor is stepping down

DORSET, Minn. --- The youngest mayor in the United States is leaving office.

Five-year-old Bobby Tufts, the now former mayor of Dorset, was elected when he was 3-years-old.

After serving two terms, Bobby says he is ready to be a kid again, even if it means giving up the perks he had while in office.

"Nobody could arrest me, not even a cop. I have to look at the cameras so much I can't be googly-eyes and fun and nonsense," said Bobby.

The next mayor of Dorset is a little bit older than Bobby. The new mayor is 16-years-old.
