Ziker Cleaners collecting coats for "Coats for Kids' drive

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- Now that it's getting colder, here's your chance to help area kids in need!

On Monday, Oct. 17, Ziker Cleaners kicked off its annual Coats for Kids drive. With the recent temperature drop, Zikers wanted to remind the community that they are still accepting donations for this worthy cause.

To help out, just drop off a gently-used winter coat at any of Ziker's eight locations in Elkhart, Granger, Mishawaka, or South Bend.

They will launder all of the coats that are donated and pass them out to children in need.

They are distributed through the local school corporations in early December, prior to the holidays.

The coat drive runs through Dec. 3.

Since 1986, Ziker has collected and handed out more than 225,000 coats!
