10-Year-old girl loses fight with cancer

KNOX, Ind. -- Ten-year-old Korie Howard lost her battle with cancer early Thursday morning.
The little girl in Knox won the hearts of her community as she fought hard using the motto "fight like a girl."
Her mom Amber took to Facebook saying "I'm broken. I miss Korie so much it hurts and the tears just keep coming."
Kories "fight like a girl" Facebook page has nearly 12,000 followers.
A visitation is set for Saturday from 2 until 6 at the Knox High School Gym.
Korie's funeral is Sunday at 11:00 am also at the Knox Gym.
She will be buried at Fletcher Cemetery in Hamlet.
