CLEVELAND, Ohio-- In September, 36-year-old Shavonne Willis was found with multiple gunshot wounds and a broken arm.
Her stepson, 10, was originally thought to be a victim in the case.
The cousin of the victim, T’Osha Willis, says the family gathered evidence to prove the 10-year-old was involved.
"The evidence, the text messages and phone calls to the investigator, and that's what basically led up to his arrest"- T’Osha Willis
The stepson is now facing a charge of unclassified murder and will appear in court next month.
