KOSCIUSKO, Ind. -- The 108 Kosciusko County Fair kicked off this afternoon, beginning with a parade that featured around 60 entries.
This parade marks the opening of the fair itself and had everything from tractors to monster trucks show up, all in support of local businesses and church organizations.
"I believe the community is always excited to come to the fair. I mean, come see the animals. You know, all the hard work that the kids have put in to get ready to put their animals on the projects that are here, and then also come out and blow off steam on the rides, eat a lot of different fair foods that they want to come and eat. So, yeah, it's a it's a big thing for our community," stated Kosciusko Fair Board Member and Parade Coordinator Nathan Rhoades.
The Kosciusko County Fair runs all week long, with the final day being July 12.
