KENTWOOD, Mich. -- Jamarion Lawhorn, the 12 year-old-boy accused of stabbing a 9 year-old to death, will undergo psychological testing.
The testing will determine whether he is able to understand the charges against him.
Prosecutors say they have no intention of reversing the decision to charge Jamarion Lawhorn as an adult.
Police say Lawhorn stabbed Michael "Connor" Verkerke to death on a Michigan playground on August 4.
