14-Year-old charged as juvenile in fatal accident

NILES, Mich. -- The 14-year-old who was allegedly driving a car when 12-year-old Adrian Chiquito was killed will be charged as a juvenile. He faces one count of reckless driving causing death.
Brandon Burr was allegedly driving a car in the early morning hours of December 31st when he lost control of the vehicle and struck a tree on Bertrand Street just south of Niles.
Burr suffered head injuries in the accident.
His passenger, Chiquito, died.
