14-year-old girl arrested for allegedly fighting at middle school

ELKHART, Ind. -- A 14-year-old girl was taken into custody after getting into a fight with another student, Elkhart Police said.
Police were called to Northside Middle School around 12:45 p.m. Monday for reports of a fight.
A school employee told police a girl struck another girl in the head and face while in the hallway, reports said.
A 14-year-old girl was taken to the Juvenile Detention Center on a preliminary charge of disorderly conduct.
