18-year-old man injured in shooting on King Street

SOUTH BEND, Ind.—An 18-year-old man was injured in a shooting on King Street on Tuesday night, according to the South Bend Police Department.

Officers learned of a ShotSpotter Activation around 8 p.m. in the 1300 block of W. King Street.

While on scene, officers were notified of an 18-year-old male victim who walked into the hospital with a non-life threatening wound to the lower leg.

During their initial investigation, officers learned that the victim was involved in an argument with an unknown person before shots were fired in the 1300 block of W. King.
