18-Year-old shot in Saint Joseph County

SAINT JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. -- An 18-year-old man is in the hospital after he was shot in the chest. It happened on the 24700 block of Northlea Drive just before 8:30 Thursday night.
A neighbor heard gunshots and called in the shooting.
Timothy Davis, 18, was shot.
Police say 18-year-old Trey Lottie was arrested on a preliminary charge of criminal recklessness.
Officers are still collecting evidence and investigating the shooting.
No word on a possible motive yet.
