19 Million packages sent out on busiest shipping day of the year

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- There's just 15 days until Christmas and the shipping business is preparing for the rush.
FedEx said Monday is expected to be its busiest shipping day ever. Nearly 19 million packages will be sent.
We checked in at the FedEx shipping locations around South Bend where it was business as usual. A welcome surprise for employees and customers.
"They're handling everything pretty well and it's not as busy as I thought it would be," said Tesla Hardesty, FedEx Customer.
If you're waiting until the last minute to ship your gifts by ground, FedEx said you'll have to send your presents by Dec. 17.
