2 Dead in Detroit senior center shooting

DETROIT -- Two women were killed during a shooting inside a Detroit senior citizen center.

Police say the 65-year-old suspect had an argument with his girlfriend Sunday night. Afterwards he went to his apartment, grabbed his rifle, and started looking for two residents blamed for the break up.

One man who lives at the center says he came face-to-face with the shooter who told him to get on the ground and start praying.

"I turned around and he let off a round and he shot my friend in the head. My ears were starting to ring," said senior center resident Paul Frantangelo.

Police arrested the suspect shortly after the shots were fired.
