SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- The parents of a wandering 2-year-old have been contacted. The child was in the care of an older sibling when he was found in South Bend.
South Bend Police were looking for the parents or guardians of a 2-year-old child who was found wandering in the 2900 block of Bonds Avenue Friday afternoon.
The child was found around 3:45 p.m. wearing a shirt and a diaper.
Police have not received any calls about a missing child.
The child remains with DCS.
Neighbors that found the boy said he was very hungry. They approached homes where the child was found looking for his guardians.
