2013 World Dwarf Games draw biggest crowd

LANSING, Mich. — Hundreds of athletes from 17 countries descended upon Lansing for the Sixth Annual World Dwarf Games over the weekend.

This was the biggest success in the games' history.

Thousands of spectators packed every sporting event. Some of the events included swimming, track and field, volleyball and badminton.

"A big piece of the games is the obviously the competition," said Edward Andrews. "The level is so high, but it's also just being able to compete on an even playing field, you know, with people your own size."
