SOUTH BEND, Ind.--- Demonstrators are planning to hold a protest on Saturday at County-City building from noon until noon on Sunday. The protest aims at continuing the conversation of police brutality and misconduct in South Bend following the controversial shooting of Eric Logan.
Protesters will descend on downtown South Bend with a list of demands that they are still waiting to be fulfilled. Protesters are asking for more community involvement with South Bend Police, a revised training curriculum to allow more of a focus on deescalation techniques, and compensation for Eric Logan's family.
Some protesters are also calling for the firing of South Bend Police Chief Scott Ruszkowski.
