3-Year-old hit by baseball bat after fight broke out

ELKHART, Ind. - A 3-year-old was injured after getting hit by a baseball bat during a large fight.
The fight broke out at 3:26 p.m. 8th and Harrison and moved a couple blocks away to 6th and Marion.
Officers say shots were fired, but it appears at this time that no one was shot.
About 20-30 people were physically fighting with one another when the child was hit.
Dispatchers said it appears the child was simply at the wrong place when she was accidentally hit.
There is no word on her condition right now, she was rushed to Elkhart General Hospital.
