ELKHART, Ind. -- The 45th annual Elkhart Rhapsody Festival was held Friday afternoon along with a ribbon cutting ceremony for the new Island Park Playground.
The previous playground was over 30 years old, Elkhart parks and recreation installed an Aventis tower for children of all abilities to play on, and offering more accessibility through imaginative play, and inclusive development play pieces. This is one of six being installed throughout the city of Elkhart.
The Rhapsody Festival is underway Friday, the two day festival boast live music and a family friendly environment complete with an artist market. The Festival returns Saturday at 10am with last performance starting at 8p.m
