4th annual Nappanee Civil War Days this weekend

NAPPANEE, Ind. - The 7th Indiana and 21st Indiana Light Artillery Units are putting on the 4th annual Nappanee Civil War Days, scheduled for June 8 and 9.

The public is invited to enjoy period accurate music, a saloon, food, train rides, petting zoo, pony rides, candle making, frying pan toss competition, sutlers, vendors, pottery, and period impressions, and more.

Organizers say the battles will be held on Saturday at 3 p.m. and Sunday at 1 p.m.

Admission is $7 for ages 8 and up. Children 7 and under get in free.

The event is taking place at The Barns of Nappanee at 1600 West Market St.
