City of South Bend to replace street lights with LED bulbs
(CNN) -- A 5-year-old boy was watching fireworks with his family when he fell into a water filled sewer drain in Evansville.
Rescue crews were dispatched around 9 p.m. to rescue the boy.
He remained alert and spoke with crews while he was being rescued.
After he was freed from the sewer drain, he was taken to the hospital to be checked out.
