After closure in 2020, YMCA reopens in downtown
CASSOPOLIS, Mich. – Only 52 Midwest Energy & Communications (MEC) customers remain without power after severe storms rolled through Michiana Friday night.
According to a press release, the storms caused significant damage resulting in broken poles, downed trees and powerlines as well as impassable roads,
Customers still impacted are in the Waverly, Covert, Bangor, and Paw Paw Townships.
MEC officials are hopeful that all customers will be restored by Sunday night.
