57 Minute Miracle at Plymouth High School: Meeting our Miracle Maker

Our second 57 Minute Miracle takes us to Plymouth High School, where we enlist the help of a guidance counselor to make our miracle happen.

Guidance counselor Aimee Portteus agreed to help us out.

She struggled to think of just one student to give $570 to, but she eventually landed on senior Elizabeth Northcutt, who had just been in her office that morning.

“I’ve been working with her, and I know she has some outstanding needs, and this would help her get some things that she needs to have,” said Aimee Portteus.

She looked up Elizabeth’s classroom number.

I started the timer.

And we all headed upstairs to make miracle number three happen.
