6-year-old injured in ATV accident

COLON TOWNSHIP, Mich. -- A 6-year-old was airlifted to Bronson Hospital after an ATV rolled over on top of him Sunday morning.
Just before 11 a.m., 6-year-old Benjamin O'Connell was on an ATV trying to ride up a dirt mound when the ATV turned sideways and rolled over onto O'Connell, according to the St. Joseph County Sheriff's Department.
The incident happened in the 60000 block of Farrand Road.
O'Connell was airlifted to Bronson Hospital, but his condition was not known.
He was wearing a helmet, according to the sheriff's department.
