7 arrested following search warrant in La Porte

MICHIGAN CITY, Ind. -- The La Porte County Drug Task Force and Sheriff’s Department ERT Team began an investigation into a residence after multiple complaints regarding suspected drug activity.

The La Porte County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office presented evidence to La Porte Circuit Court which resulted in a search warrant to be conducted at the residence.

The search warrant was executed Friday at a residence located at 308 State Street in La Porte.

The LCDTF said drug paraphernalia was found during the search.

These seven individuals were arrested in connection to this investigation:

• Zachary Roberts, 27, of La Porte was charged with visiting a common nuisance and providing a false identity.
• Wade Fletcher, 25, of La Porte was charged with visiting a common nuisance
• April Moss, 43, of La Porte was charged with visiting a common nuisance
• James Mrozinski, 52, of La Porte was charged with visiting a common nuisance
• Matthew Olson, 30, of La Porte was charged with visiting a common nuisance
• Randall Wanmer, 50, of La Porte was charged with maintaining a common nuisance
• Jody Roberts, 49, was charged with maintaining a common nuisance

THE LCDTF is asking citizens to report suspected drug activity via the crime tip hotline at 873-1488.
