8-year-old missing in South Bend

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- The South Bend Police Department announced on Tuesday that 8-year-old Kyson Mckel Shorter is missing.
Police say Shorter was last seen when he ran away from his home at the 2100 block of South Catalpa.
Shorter is described as having black hair, brown eyes, being about 80 pounds, wearing blue stripped underwear, one black sock, and one multi-colored sock with the Tasmanian Devil on it, police say.
Anyone with information on Shorter should call the South Bend Police Department at 574-235-9201 or dial 911.
Update: Kyson Mckel has been found as of Tuesday at 11:30 pm.
